We are all looking forward to CERME13 in Budapest, to be held July 10-14, 2023. A lot of new information is now available at the web site of the congress, including the second announcement, the call for papers from the thematic working groups, Early Bird procedure, and much more. Do not forget the deadline for submissions: February 15, 2023 (before midnight, Budapest time).
YESS12 in Linz – a great success!
Because of the interruptions caused by the pandemic, the YERME summer school had an “extra edition” this year, YESS12 [normally the summer school is held every two years, so the next will be in 2024]. YESS 12 is held in Linz, Austria, with the scientific organisation led by Konstantinos Tatsis, and the local organisation led by Zsolt Lavicza. Thanks to all the organizers and participants, it was a very fuitful YESS – see the YERME-video below:
Mathematics in the Digital Age 3 (ETC13): 2nd announcement
As announced earlier, the 13th ERME topic conference, on Mathematics in the Digital Age, will be held in Nitra, Slovakia, from Sept. 7 to Sept. 9 this year. The last chance to register is August 1st. TiMER conference, Krakow, Sept. 13-16 2022
With the support of ERME, the Trends in Mathematics Education Research conference (TiMER) will take place in Krakow, Poland, on September 13-16, 2022. All researchers of mathematics education, including aspiring scholars, are invited to attend and contribute. More information, registration etc. is available at the conference website.
Refunds, CERME12
Despite the costs of preparing an ordinary conference (twice), and then for preparing and holding an online conference, the financial result for CERME12 has enabled the organiser to offer a partial refund to participants who paid a full or reduced fee. All participants in this situation have been informed about this by email from CERME12 (on May 20). If you were a paying participant at CERME12 and did not receive such a mail, please look in your spam folder, and if you do not find it there, please write directly to cerme12@unibz.it
Training School in Qualitative Research Design
With a view particularly to members of emerging research communities in mathematics education, a training school is offered at the University of Nitra, Slovakia June 29-July 1, focusing on Qualitative research design in mathematcis education. It is free to attend as the event is supported by ERME. Deadline for registration is March 25. More information here.
ETC11 on University Mathematics Education – deadline April 1
Recall the deadline to submit papers or posters for ETC11 is April 8. The conference will be held Oct. 19-22 in Hannover, Germany. More information at the conference website.
