There are updates on the upcoming ERME topic conference on Language in the Mathematics Classroom – especially, the deadline for submitting papers is extended to March 13, 2022. Find the third announcement of the conference here.

CERME13 in Budapest, Hungary, will be held July 10-14 2023 (notice the exceptional date). Website and calls will appear in the early fall. Meanwhile enjoy the video presentation of the congress (showcased at the closing ceremony of CERME12).

CERME12 was held Feb. 2-5 (with YERME day Feb. 1-2) and as we all know the circumstances forced us to have it online. While we are still waiting for the exact evaluations of the congress, we can already now say that the 918 participants experienced a rich scientific programme with many opportunies for small group interaction; and few if any technical problems. An immense thanks is due to the Bolzano LOC team and to the IPC for working so hard for so long.

The 12th ERME Topic Conference on “Language in the mathematics classroom” will be held at Oxford U. (UK) Sept. 7-10, 2022. The deadline for submitting papers and posters is Feb. 25. See the second announcement here!

ERME launches two new awards for papers and posters in 2022
The board of ERME has decided to launch two new awards, the ERME Paper Award and the ERME Poster Award. The paper award is especially oriented towards young researchers, while any author of an accepted poster can be a candidate for the poster award. More details are available here:

Deadline for proposals for ERME paper award: November, 15th, 2021.
Deadline for applications for ERME poster award: November, 25th, 2021.

Preregistered participants, TWG leaders and co-leaders, IPC and ERME board members will have priority until November 25, as explained here.
